Opportunity:

Join our global technology team in redefining cardiology with our recently approved AI application for the automated analysis of echocardiography. Ripe for disruption, the field of echo has largely relied on highly skilled and trained operators to engage in the time-consuming process of acquiring, measuring and analyzing images to reach diagnosis. A process fundamentally flawed because of the inherent variability and subjectivity of humans. Groundbreaking technology based on machine learning algorithms has demonstrated the ability to detect heart disease on echocardiograms in seconds with equal or superior precision to clinicians, representing significant advantages in efficiency, cost-savings and speed to diagnosis.

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team to lead the commercial launch of the platform and manage rapid growth in the region. Reporting to the Head of Sales and Business Development, the responsibilities of this unique position combine supporting/managing channel partners to drive growth with identifying and supporting direct sales activities in the field.  

​The ideal candidates will have relevant sales experience with a strong imaging background and understanding of both technical and clinical workflow related to Sonography/Echocardiography, and a proven track record of identifying, presenting and closing/driving business opportunities in both direct and channel sales.

To be successful as a Business Develop Manager, you should demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.

​Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic, results oriented sales plan for a defined geographical region.
  • Identify and prospect for new partners, distributors and clients in the region
  • Lead sales presentations in-person and online
  • Generate proposals, prepare sales quotations, plan customer meetings
  • Perform product demonstrations to showcase technical and clinical capabilities of AI platform
  • Negotiate end user licensing and pricing agreements
  • Close new deals with new and existing clients
  • Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts
  • Manage a pipeline utilizing a CRM to track activity and updates
  • Assure alignment of go-to-market activities including Marketing and PR initiatives in the region
  • Support your partner’s sales efforts through presentations, clinical demonstrations, and other activities aimed at driving business to closure
  • Monitor sales and sales projections
  • Support post-sale activities including training and support as needed
  • Establish relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the field
  • Provide partner/customer feedback to the Product Team to influence and align solution roadmaps
  • Manage a pipeline utilizing a CRM to track activity and updates
  • Other duties as assigned

What Do You Need to Succeed?

  • A strong background in imaging workflow with knowledge of echocardiography being a plus
  • Strong knowledge of clinical information systems and integration of CPOE/EMR/HIS/RIS/PACS/CPACS/CVIS
  • Proven track record in software sales within the medical imaging space (modalities/CVIS/CPACS)
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to create collateral for customer facing engagements
  • A willingness to wear many hats and work in an early stage/startup environment
  • Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales process
  • Ability to travel – 50%
